Author Comments:
I don't like listing things from traditional new year to traditional new year. Since Christmas is basically a movie-going holiday in my family--and movies are something of a religion--I keep my yearly movie lists from Dec 25 on. My goal is to watch 100 movies or more a year.

Rosemary's Baby is definitely worth multiple viewings. Watching that movie always feels like reading a book to me, because it all takes place from Rosemary's point of view and we're continuously aware of what she's thinking.
I agree: it's a well-constructed film. I always want to read Ira Levin's novel, however. I've had a nice copy of the book sitting on one of my many "to be read" shelves for about two years now. I guess I'll put that off for at least another six months or so just to let the story fade from my consciousness a bit--but I do wonder if the book is as good as the film.
