- [liked] Sunset Blvd. (1950 Billy Wilder) They certainly don’t make narrations like they use to. The end scene was beautifully shot. The stillness of everyone as Norma Desmond gracefully descends. Creepy.
- [didn’t get to finish] Peeping Tom (1960 Michael Powell) "Well he won’t be doing the crosswords tonight." Its odd watching people try to attain porn before the internet. Was it just my imagination or did they fail to edit out a cut scene? These people are too weird about the simplest of things. Like a lizard or a camera.
- [liked] American Gangster (2007 Ridley Scott) A more than decent flick. Of course everyone’s talking about Denzel. Guess he’s going to be a badass in everything he does. Good or bad.
- [loved] Superbad (2007 Greg Mottola) What a hilarious movie. I never liked the George-Michael Bluth character from Arrested Development but he worked out very well in this film. I guess I’ll go figure out how to wedge it into my Top Ten of 2007 list. It deserves it.
- [decent] The Living and the Dead (2006 Simon Rumley) There are no end to the bizarre movies I watch. Unfortunately for my friends, these are the kind of movies I force them to watch.
