What did you think of Hoosiers (one I've seen) and Corpse Bride (one I haven't)?
I loved Hoosiers, it was the first time that I saw it, I didn't know if I'd like it or not so I kept passing it up for something else everytime I saw it at the video store but I decided to go ahead and see it and it was really good. The Corpse Bride was pretty good, I'm not much of a Tim Burton fan, the only movies by him that I really like are Ed Wood and Sleepy Hollow, the only reason I saw Corpse Bride is because my friend rented it, I probably wouldn't have seen it otherwise. Corpse Bride is better than The Nightmare Before Christmas, which wasn't directed by Tim Burton but is accociated with him.
Thanks! Very happy to hear you loved Hoosiers as it's one of my favorites in a genre I have a weakness for to begin with. I really owe it a rewatch. I'm also happy to hear Corpse Bride is good, as I had mixed feelings about the trailer, but queued it anyway.
maybe you've seen it and maybe you know this already but if you loved hoosiers you have to see rudy.

did you enjoy Ginger Snaps? i thought it was great, very thoughtful and interesting teen horror, which makes a wellcomed change. good acting with interesting characters. cool movie. oh and what are the sequels like ?
I enjoyed all three of the Ginger Snaps movies. Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed is the only true sequel to the first movie, Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning is a combination Prequel/Remake of the first movie. My favorite of the three is Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed, I'm not sure why, I just really liked that movie. It's the most simplistic of the trilogy.
Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed Ginger is dead, having died in the first movie, in Unleashed, she exists only in Brigitte's mind. Brigitte is on the run from a werewolf that wants to mate with her. She is sent to a rehab clinic because of her taking the Monkshood poison that keeps her from transforming into a werewolf. She meets a young girl there named Ghost that helps her. In the first movie they believed the Monkshood poison was a cure for the curse but in Unleashed we find out that it's not a cure, it just slows down the transformation.
Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning is Set in the 19th Century Canada, Brigette and her sister Ginger take refuge in a Traders' Fort which later becomes under siege by some savage werewolves. And an enigmatic Indian hunter decides to help the girls, but one of the girls has been bitten by a werewolf. Brigitte and Ginger may have no one to turn to but themselves. This movie explains how the "curse" began but it does not explain how Ginger and Brigette got to the 19th Century.
