These are movies which have made me sob out loud, a good hard cry. I realize some of these may seem to be are strange choices, but I never claimed to be rational. I have teared up in movies as diverse as The Usual Suspects and Lethal Weapon 4 or 5.

Casablanca, Joy Luck Club, Gone with the Wind, and Dangerous Liasons are all great choices. Inherit the Wind is great, but it made you cry? Have you seen The Man in the Moon (1991)? That and Joy Luck Club are my 2 favorite sentimental-type films about family.

I think Inherit the Wind made me cry becasue it is about injustice. I find that that makes me cry. I have seen Man in the Moon, and I just forgot about it. I love it, and it did make me cry, a lot. I believe I will add that to my list, thanks

"THE Man in the Moon" and "Man in the Moon" are very different movies :P Sorry, I'm a nitpicker!

I try to stay far AWAY from movies that make me cry, but even with the best of effort I have accidently seen some. Have you seen "Beaches"?
I cried till I thought my head would explode, then was depressed for a week! If you really like this type of movie try renting a video of the old movie, "Love Story" or "Brian's Song". I guarantee you will need a whole box of Kleenex and a years worth of therapy after viewing them. Good luck, and enjoy your cry! -Chagal

Thank you for the recommendations-- I have seen Beaches, and it did make me cry-- but the others I have only heard of. I don't necessarily LIKE to cry, but I do it so easily that I can;t help it.

I've watched the movie "Angus" several times...two scenes in it always make me cry. "Untamed Heart" made me cry..."The Waterdance" makes me cry even after several viewings.

Have you seen The Sixth Sense?

No, but everyone tells me that I will really enjoy it, and that it will truly surprise me (which is very rare).

I have now seen the Sixth Sense and I WAS SO SURPRISED!!! I didn't predict the ending at all, so a nice enjoyable movie for me. (And whoever thinks that Bruce Willis is not a good actor should see that movie. Perhaps it is related to the actors playing disabled/unusual/mentally retarded people getting more accolades than those who play "normal"?)

I don't cry much on movies. When i say that i exclude a little tear in the corner of my eye. One movie however that comes to mind where i did cry was Dead Man Walking. Truely a tear jerker for me.
