Movies I've Seen - Redesign of the Tier System

- Another redesign of my tier system: I am making all the tiers have more subjective names. I am doing this for two reasons.
- 1. I really do rank the films on the Movies I've Seen lists in terms of personal favoritism rather than which ones I think are the best.
- 2. I think I played too loose with the word "Masterpiece" in my old tier system.
- There will be minimal shuffling. The only real change is the different names. I still have to change all the years in the 80s and 90s, but the rest are done.

HURRAY!!!!!!!!
I applaud your choice, as you could probably guess with a glance at my own system :-)
Hmmmm... though, I imagine for the 70s-2000s your lists are going to be extremely long in each tier.
In that way, I prefer the old system.
But of course, the 'perfect' system in my eyes is more akin to the one I'm using: each decade is one Listology 'list,' but each year is seperated within that list.
I'm gonna keep my 70s-2000s lists in their individual years. My decade lists were always in decade format, because I hadn't seen nearly as many movies in the 30s as in the 90s.
Oh, okay. So it was just a tier redesign, not a year/decade redesign. I wasn't paying attention :-)
I have my own list set up year-by-year from 1920-present, mostly because I hope to eventually see many, many more movies from earlier years and fill out the yearly lists that are currently quite empty. But man... there are so many newer movies I want to see, too, but I can't spend all day every day watching movies. And looking at a list like this one just makes me drool - oh, to have seen so many great movies!
WOW. I did all that in about 15 hours, while still getting 8 hours of sleep. This is either a testament to my stamina or to my boredom.
