How did you manage to see Greed?

I saw it on Turner Classic Movies a few months ago. It's showing again on 01/03/2005 06:00 AM.

It looks like the version they're showing is only 129 minutes long.

Yes, I noticed that too. There's a restored version that was put together by Turner Entertainment using the existing footage and still photographs of the deleted scenes, this version runs 239 min. Usually TCM shows the uncut or restored versions of the films that they show. I don't know why they are showing the 129 minute version of Greed.

I borrowed it from my library. There are hundreds of libraries with a VHS copy. If your library doesn't have it, you could try their interlibrary loan service.
