- Word Wars (2004)
- Owes a lot to Stefan Fatsis's Word Freak (which I've read more times than I can count). Similarly, the crossword documentary Wordplay owes a certain something to this one, and Merv Griffin's Crosswords owes much of its visual style to Wordplay. And the circle of life is complete.
- American Gangster (2007)
- Saw in the theater. Got me thinking about whether I'd rather be like Denzel Washington's character or Russell Crowe's. Denzel's, oddly enough.
- Cloverfield (2008)
- Didn't know much going in, which helped, since the "scary" is helped along by the "surprises". Enjoyed it, in part because it was short. That's 2 seen in the theater this year. One of my New Years resolutions was to see more movies in the theater.
- Ocean's Thirteen (2007)
February
- The Simpsons Movie (2007)
- Team America: World Police (2004)
- Ratatouille (2007)
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)
- I love the Harry Potter books, but boy I didn't like this movie. At all.
- The Golden Compass. (2007)
- Saw in the theater. Great special effects, especially the polar bears.

I don't watch many movies, but last year I saw more than I usually do. I may as well track these too, eh?
