What you have both said about Deliverance is all well and good, but what's so wrong about not wanting to see a movie again because of a rape scene? Some of us would rather not be walking around with such imagery in our heads. Does that make us weak, or unable to face the reality of the brutality of rape? I don't necessarily think so.
What didn't you like about DELIVERANCE? It was the rape scene, wasn't it. Confronting. Realistic. Actually, it's an excellent movie.
Which version of MOREAU? The Val Kilmer, Marlon Brando? I didn't mind it. Another confronting movie. And wonderfully horrifying makeup fx.
