Movies I received on DVD this holiday season

I like being able to slip a couple dozen movies into my laptop case to take with me -- so for the Desert Islanders, DVD + a laptop is the way to go. Plus, it makes for easy gifts: Check the right size (VHS) of the TV, then if it's not on the left (DVD), it's a good gift.

A couple of months ago, I bought a new laptop that included a DVD drive. So of course, I had to have at least one movie on DVD (Yellow Submarine). I liked the format, special features, and so on, that I decided all my new movies would be on DVD. I got a the above movies as gifts this holiday season, all on DVD. Unfortunately, not all of them were available in widescreen format.

And before you scoff at Xanadu, it has Olivia Newton-John, Gene Kelly, and additional music by ELO. What more could you ask for?
