Movies I don't like, and most likely won't watch again.

- Barefoot Gen (1992)
- One of the first and strongest anime motion pictures ever made. Definitely not made for children, and definitely not fairytale-esque. It's a movie following a young boy involved in the Hiroshima bombings, showing the horrors and the aftermath. Gen, the boy, is in question the shadow of the creator of the original manga series, Keiji Nakasawa, of whom was 6 years old in 1945, when it happened.
- This movie had a HUGE emotional impact on me, and bothered me for quite a long time. I'm talking WEEKS after seeing the film. If anyone's seen Grave of the Fireflies, they'll agree that's another emotional movie involving Hiroshima, but this particular film gets right down to the nitty gritty details. And I don't think it could have been done any other way. It's a very good film to watch, but I'll never do that again.
- Exorcist: The Beginning (2004)
- Oh my god- SO not for me. 'NUFF SAID.Spoiler: Highlight to viewWho would enjoy seeing a poor little boy getting ripped to shreds by posessed wolves and screaming bloody murder and crying and suffering while is fucking little brother watches?
- God, I was so angry.
- Pan's Labyrinth (2006)
- A fantasy like no other. I bought this on DVD with great interest; the graphics looked amazing, the story looked quite in depth, and it had already won three Academy Awards. Then I watched it.
- Okay so it's a great movie, definitely one of a kind. But it's very dark, and very bittersweet. In fact, the ending of the movie is the perfect definition of bittersweet. Unfortunately I didn't feel a sense of goodness in the end, and the only sense of joy I ever had watching the film was when that stupid fucker. And yeah, umm, I really loved seeingSpoiler: Highlight to viewgets his face shot at in the end. Hey, a pussy's gotta enjoy some films too- just not this one.Spoiler: Highlight to viewfairies getting their heads bitten off
- Pi (1998)
- Okay, I like films that make me think. I like films that have initiative to confuse its viewers. And I like director Darren Aronofsky (Also directing films such as Requiem for a Dream (a favorite of mine), and The Fountain (which I'm dying to see)). But I found myself praying for the end credits to show all through this movie. Don't get me wrong, my opinion is probably a rare one. This film is very well done. It's a thinker alright.
- Max is a mathematician thats been attempting to crack the code for the stock market. What he stumbles across instead is a number decoding much bigger matters, like biblically big. You're taken on a chaotic daily struggle with him into his mind- and seriously... the movie gave me as much of a headache as he appeared to have several times during the film. Perhaps this movie is due for another viewing, but I'm not sure I've recovered from the first time I attempted to watch it.
- I think the only parts I enjoyed were when he was thinking, and the viewers were transported into this trippy space-esque thinking process jumble image, with different styles of techno/trance/acid/chaotic ambient music playing in the backround. It made me giggle. Perhaps I'm just an asshole...

Watch Cannibal Holocaust, it interesting, but extremely sick and twisted, banned in 60 countries - I guarantee you won't want to see it again. Be warned - it has stoning to death, rape & even a newborn baby buried in the mud. Don't watch if squeamish, some of it looks scarily real..
Argh!!! Why on Earth would I watch such tripe!?!?!? I've read reviews on this by AsColdAsIce... and was thoroughly disgusted just by that!
I'd add it right away but I don't have the nerve, stamina, personality, even moral existence to watch something like that! Thus... I can't put it on this list if I haven't seen it...
Sorry if I've disappointed anyone with that remark...
Precisely why I won't watch Hostel Part 2. A friend told me a child gets handpicked and shot dead. Why do people have to hurt the children? I die inside. Ugh.
Hostel is pretty sick, I haven't seen 2, but I don't know if I want to anymore lol. Horror is best when used with subtlety, or buildup - aka Silence of The Lambs or Hannibal (I know they're linear horror but hannibal is a horror character really).
You guys are both pussies!
Well I've accepted the fact that I kinda live my life like a pussy anyway.
It's one thing to kill a person and mangle them up, but to kill something that hasn't even gotten the chance to actually live is kinda relentless and almost cruel to put onto screen.
But everyone has their own opinions. Mine's just a pussy one, that's all.
... if I could make a pussy chibi face with text right now... I would... :-/
I'm just joking.
Believe me, despite some of the things I watch, there are others that I am too much of a pussy to watch.
No, I admit, I'm one of the biggest pussies out there.
:-P
Really............
I don't think so, I think most of us are just sick and demented.
