how can you rank ferris beuller's day off and Big Trouble in little china as the worst movies. these are two classics that i found extremely hilarious. if you want to rank a terrible movie rank titanic as one of the worst. that movie sucked!!!!

[i think our friend of Comment #1 was a little confused... being able to quote something word for word is a COMPLIMENT where i come from.] at any rate, judging from this--your first list--i'm anxious to see more from you! sid & nancy, breakfast club, princess bride, and harry & sally are all favorites of mine as well.

thanks taryn. You've got the right idea.

Hmm... I have to admit I never really understood what the big deal about "Ferris Bueller" was.

However, I do give you credit for "A Fish Called Wanda". And while we're at the subject, I can't believe "MP & Holy Grail" is not on that list!!!
You surely know at least a few quotes from the movie!

What a lot of people don't understand about Ferris Bueller is that the movie is not about Ferris Bueller. It's about his friend Cameron Frye and his coming out of his shell to face the daemons that haunt him (mostly his parents) with a side story about Ferris' sister realizing that she doesn't have to compete with Ferris and a comment on the cluelessness of parents when dealing with teenage kids. (Who among us couldn't completely scam our parents when we were in high school?)

A Fish Called Wanda was great, but I actually enjoyed Fierce Creatures more (partly because of who I saw Wanda with, but not just because Fierce Creatures had Land Rover references in it.) Princess Bride is definitely a quotable movie (and is already on my list of Movies I Quote From.

Don't call me stupid.
I'll have what she's having.
I'll just take these Huggies, and... gimmie all your cash.
As you wish.
