In no particular order.
apparently, I'm most scared by ghosts, people who turn into insects, insanity, and possession. Oh, and David Lynch.
Time Travel and/or distortion especially breaks my brain.

Okay, but is Inland Empire any good?
well, as with all Lynch flicks, that's Highly Subjective, to put it mildly.
I liked it. I think. It was quite long, and made less sense than usual. Extremely strong performance from Laura Dern.
Wait, there's a usual level of sense in Lynch movies?
well... this one takes the usual level of unsense and just gallops into the wild blue yonder.
I had this to say immediately after viewing:
just got back from INLAND EMPIRE, the new David Lynch movie. I must preface this by saying that I am a huge Lynch fan. but whoa. This new flick makes Lost Highway look linear.
There was one point where I had to cover my eyes because the image on the screen was so creepy. That never happens to me.
Laura Dern was outstanding. Even if I'm not sure she - her character(s) - actually existed. Yeah. It was that kind of night. No, I have no fucking idea what the bunnies were about. Anya would have been horrified.
I have theories, but I'd say they only cover about 60% of the movie.
Here's what I wrote about after thinking a bit. Probably spoilers, but this movie really is hard to spoil because it's so odd.
I have to ask, because I'm me: Do the bunnies come out okay?
yes, I believe so. They are people with bunny heads, but as far as I remember, there was no harm to them.
Hey thanks for this list! I just remembered a couple to add to my "Trippy Movies" list. A lot on your list have freaked me out too.
Have you seen "The Ring?" I think that one might make it to this list.
no, I haven't seen it. but I bet it would freak me out!
