Author Comments:
Give the character name and the name of the movie. Actually, the character's name isn't all that important as long as you convey an idea of who said it.

#2 - Frances McDormand (don't remember the character's name) in Fargo
#4 - PeeWee Herman in PeeWee's Big Adventure
#12 - Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's
#14 - Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction
correct on all four counts.
#13 is Jaws. Roy Schneider's character, but I can't remember his name.
Correct.
#7 is from Airplane!, and the character is the captain. Um, was it Captain Under?
Indeed. Except the character's name, but I'm relaxed about that.
1. - Some Like It Hot - I can't recall the character's name - Roy something?
9. - All About Eve - Addison DeWitt?
15. - The Grapes of Wrath - Tom Joad
Shalom, y'all!
L. Bangs
Correct on #1 and and 15. However, I am very dissapointed in you for not getting #9. Its a personal favorite of yours, and its not All About Eve.
Yeah, I can hear that line being said in my head, I just can't quite place it yet. I know I've seen it recently.
10 isn't Midge from Vertigo, is it?
As for 9, I'm still pondering...
Shalom, y'all!
L. Bangs
Ah, you mentioning that it was a personal favorite jogged my memory. 9 is Brian from Cabaret, I do believe!
Shalom, y'all!
L. Bangs
You got it!
310 is my personal favorite, I think it might be the hardest to get. Of course, having said that, someone will come in and prove me wrong. So to answer your question, no. But Vertigo certainly didn't suffer a lack of bras.
It's driving me crazy because I KNOW I have seen this film. Hmmm...
I do remember Midge going off on bras, but I believe she was only bragging about a design, not making an argument for their place in the national economy. Ah well...
Frankly, I'm just as glad it wasn't Vertigo (snicker)
Shalom, y'all!
L. Bangs
11 isn't Banky from Chasing Amy, is it?
(Yes, I know I'm probably stretching on this one...)
Shalom, y'all!
L. Bangs
Another film that made one of your lists (see your 1995-1999 best of list), but not Chasing Amy.
Ah, I know which one, but that hint was too good. I'll let somebody else nab this one.
Shalom, y'all!
L. Bangs
damn my generous hints!
I thought you might get it. Its actually my favorite role that actor has ever played.
10 is the English guy from A Mad,A Mad Mad World
5. I would guess Valley Girl but I have no idea on who
11. is From Being John Malkovich. Charlie Sheen playing the only character he really knows how to play Charlie Sheen
there we go! looks like I was wrong about #10.
#19 is (nerd that I am) Darth Vader from the star wars trilogy; I'm thinking from the first scene from "Return of the Jedi"
#8: Otis B. Driftwood [Groucho Marx] in A NIGHT AT THE OPERA.
#20 is the sweet but not-too-bright feller in O Brother, Where Art Thou?
6. House of Games (1997)
