An A+ for Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (at numbers 199 and 200)... quel surprise!

i'll add something to that...Dark Knight A+, what a suprise!

(less than a week for us brits now!!!)

Yes, I know, I'm predictable.

But seriously. Dr. Horrible and The Dark Knight coming out in the same week is like my reward for years of wasting of my life doing incredibly geeky things.

Just when Hancock made me lose a lot of faith in the future of superhero movies, along come two that pretty much define the damn genre.

And, oh yeah, this is what you get you've watched/discussed both of them too much: For the last twelve hours, I have been imagining The Dark Knight as a musical.

The Dark Knight vs The Thoroughbred of Sin.

Would Bad Horse let the Joker ride him?

What part of "Rules the League with an iron hoof," do you not understand?

ah, we both rewatched the dark knight today, saying that i rewatched it for the 9th time :p

Hahahaha.

Fourth time for me, and the first on DVD. Just as awesome as I remembered.

Well the last 2 times i saw it, i was getting a little bored by it at times. For example it is a very easy movie to split into set pieces (bank job, party crash, chase, hospital ect ect) which can make stuff inbetween seem like it drags a bit and i did find myself getting bored by the hospital bit and the boat bit. However on this rewatch, i was totally into it and changed cloverfield as my #1 2008 film to a joint between dark knight and cloverfield.

Yeah, the third time I saw it, it did seem to drag a little. But I think that was only because I had seen it so much in such a short span of time.

Coming clean to it after five months made everything feel brand new again. I think this movie is going to stand the test of time better than almost any other superhero movie out there right now.

oh for sure it will stand the test of time. The performances i think will be the main reason, i mean theres Heath of course, who is brilliant. Gary Oldman is fantastic and very overlooked when it comes to nolan's batman films, in terms of praise. Eckhart also is brilliant, when he says "lie, like i lied" i get chills :D hah and this is most deffo down to bad acting but...Eric Roberts made Maroni a memorable character! i mean c'mon, he sits in the court, cool as you like, joker making his entrance and using his magic trick, no skin of maroni's back. Being dropped from a building? meh, merely a scratch lol legend :D

Yeah, I was gonna say...Maroni gets his ankles messed up by Batman, but then later is walking around like nothing happened?

Hee hee, Eric Roberts...

(Oh, and the moment I get chills is when the Joker yells at the fake batman, "LOOK AT ME!" I mean, that sounds inhuman. It's terrifying.)
