Tags:
- "A Room with a View" - a young English girl transfigured by Italy, one of the best screen kisses ever
- "Strictly Ballroom" - Love IS in the air
- "The Sound of Music" - call me a dope but when Captain von Trapp does that country dance with Maria, I melt.
- "Romancing the Stone" - I never get tired of Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas' odd couple in the jungle
- "The Wedding Singer" - shows that Adam Sandler has a big heart
- "Some Kind of Wonderful" - The scene in the garage where Mary Stuart Masterson and Eric Stoltz kiss for the first time.... AAAAA!!! I have to rewind and rewatch that one EVERY SINGLE TIME!
- WHEN HARRY MET SALLY - Maybe the most realistic romantic movie ever made, this film has great dialogue, great chemistry and a romantic situation many people can identify with. And who can resist those wacky old people's stories about their marriages?

I'm sure I've forgotten a ton, suggestions welcome.

jen- i'm glad to see you mentioned the first kiss scene in SKOW...it still gives me goosebumps every time i see it! and the song playing in the background is cool too.
Jen, what do you think about SHADOWLANDS? That movie is romantic and very sad.
two months and eleven days later I ask again. What do you think of SHADOWLANDS? That film is romantic and also very sad.
Damn! You really want to know don't you? Well, then, the truth is I don't really think of it. I saw it once and it didn't make too much of an impression on me. Does that make me a bad person? I think it must given the fervor with which you pursue this topic. Who knows why something touches one person's heart and not another's, however?
I agree tastes vary. I hope you dont think I was being pushy.
