Most Disappointing Books...EVER! (in my opinion)

- After Fight Club earned the title of recent cult classics scene and Palahniuk was on the mainstream map, avid fans awaitted in listless anticipation for his next work, Survivor. Most of the emo kids ate it up word for word, but I wasn't ashamed to voice my opinion that my newly discovered writing and rhetoric guru wasn't as messianic as I was led to believe. The book had it's moments, but midway through, drove me to the point of not even finishing the awful piece of smut. I've tried digesting it two other times, but gave up at about the same point. I'll finish it one day, but until then it's without a doubt the most disappointing book I've ever read.
