The most attractive people in the music business

Tags:
  • Freddie Mercury - this man had charisma to spare, an amazing voice, a beautiful soul
  • Rufus Wainwright - Oh man... See Rufus in concert and fall in love. His voice is haunting and beautiful, his songs are longing and perfection and youth and death all at once. And he's great-looking with keen fashion sense. Apparently he's single too, but he mainly likes boys.
  • Paula Cole - I saw her in concert and it totally shocked me how absolutely gorgeous and sexy she is. Plus she's better live, really talented, and did a wonderful Led Zepellin cover. Yes, Led Zepellin. You probably have to see it to believe it.
  • Alannis Morrissette - What I love about Alannis is that she's herself, she's fun, adventurous, talented but doesn't take herself too seriously. And she's beautiful on top of that.
  • Marilyn Manson - Yes, folks, I'm just as shocked as you are. But I saw him today in "Bowling for Columbine" and he said the single most intelligent thing anyone has said about our culture in recent memory. It's not for his looks, but for his intelligence, dignity and courage to be himself that Manson has been added to this list. Almost made me want to buy an album!
  • Pink - She has charm, strength, energy, style, a decent voice and a great body. I don't own one album, but have always been intrigued by her.

This is all I can think of for now. As you might notice personality and talent matter to me just as much as looks.

well if there ever was a pretty boy of music...would you not put Peter Frampton circa the 70's on your list?
Also Burton Cummings of the Guess Who back also in the late 70's and early 80's had such a look when he was aglow with sweat on stage...amazing eyebrows.

I am thinking there is no denying that Diana Krall is very sultry.

Just a thought.

I'm still holding out for Norah Jones and Corin Tucker of Sleater-Kinney, tho' I can't really debate your list. First off, beauty is intensely subjective. Second, I agree with your picks! hee hee...
