My favourite thing about the whole mp3 scene is the ease of access to songs that I do not currently have on CD and finding new artists that I haven't heard of before.
I made this CD using the
All Music Guide Website and some p2p software. What I decided to do was to take advantage of the similar artist list that All Music places on their web pages to pick the next entry on the CD. I started with someone I new I liked (Ron Sexsmith) and went from there.
What I ended up with was a lot of groups that I never heard of before:

A couple I had heard of but never really listened to

I downloaded a lot songs from each before settling on the ones listed above, and I know that I missed even more. It took quite a long time to complete (I think I started late August) but it was certainly an enjoyable experience. I will definitely be putting some of these new artists on my list of people to check out in more detail, namely Nick Drake and Red House Painters, both of whom I had a hard time picking just one song to use.
The title for this CD comes from a line in the first song, which is my latest method of naming my CD mixes
