- [01/01] Children of Men (2006 Alfonso CuarĂ³n) 75: the direction, production design and cinematography are all excellent (the details in the background and the battle scenes are amazing). The acting is also very good by the stars and unknowns alike. Some of the violence (an early terrorist attack, the battery to the face) is very jarring. The film does take awhile to get going and the ending is a bit abrupt.
- [01/03] Blood Diamond (2006 Edward Zwick) 39 - What could have been a very good serious film devolves into a bad cliched action flick. Hounsou was great (as always) - Connelly was... *cringe* - actually a very cringeworthy film overall.
- [01/03] Idiocracy (2006 Mike Judge) 60 - stupid as hell, but very funny.
- [01/06] Her Majesty (2001 Mark J Gordon) 37 - sweet and well meaning if not very good
- [01/06] The Hudsucker Proxy (1994 Joel Coen) 59
- [01/06] Gildersleeve's Ghost (1944 Gordon Douglas) 49 - forgettable excuse to showcase a few b comedians, but Richard LeGrand & Nick Stewart are quite good.
- [01/07] Aragami (2003 Ryuhei Kitamura) 60 - surprisingly contemplative for a lighthearted action flick. great soundtrack.
- [01/08] Night at the Museum (2006 Shawn Levy) 26 - lame, manipulative and doesn't even follow it's own rules.
- [01/09] Fellini Satyricon: Italian Dub (1969 Federico Fellini) 09 - tedius, ugly and difficult to follow.
- [01/09] The Adventures of Bob & Doug McKenzie: Strange Brew (1983 Rick Moranis & Dave Thomas) 40
- [01/12] Bullets Over Broadway (1994 Woody Allen) 62
- [01/12] Superman Returns (2006 Bryan Singer) 94 - so freaking cool (and i don't even like Superman). The bullet to the eye scene...wow...
- [01/12] Surviving Picasso (1996 James Ivory) 14 - i would have burnt down his precious studio
- [01/14] The Illusionist (2006 Neil Burger) 64 - i so want that locket.... hated the ending though
- [01/15] Apocalypto (2006 Mel Gibson) 51 - makes no sense at all really, but the violence makes up for it.
- [01/16] Happy Feet (2006 George Miller) 26 - March of the Footloose Penguins
- [01/17] /Fletch/ (1985 Michael Ritchie) 49
- [01/17] Flower Drum Song (1961 Henry Koster) 21 - beautiful set designs and costumes
- [01/17] A Date with the Falcon (1941 Irving Reis) 56
- [01/18] The Devil and Daniel Webster (1941 William Dieterle) 25 - very preachy
- [01/22] Killer Tongue: English Dub (1996 Alberto Sciamma) 00
- [01/24] Hellboy Animated: Sword of Storms (2006 Phil Weinstein & Tad Stones) 52
- [01/24] The Falcon's Brother (1942 Stanley Logan) 49
- [01/25] Blast of Silence (1961 Allen Baron) 48
- [01/25] The League of Gentlemen (1959 Basil Dearden) 50

- [01/27] The Prestige (2006 Christopher Nolan) 27
- [01/29] Deconstructing Harry (1997 Woody Allen) 34
- [01/30] /Gremlins 2: The New Batch/ (1990 Joe Dante) 42
- [01/30] Matilda (1996 Danny DeVito) 66
- [02/01] Mary, Queen of Tots (1925 Robert F McGowan) 49
- [02/01] Matango (1963 IshirĂ´ Honda) 37
- [02/02] Pan's Labyrinth (2006 Guillermo del Toro) 75 - very good but i sorta expected a fantasy film

- [02/02] The Parole Officer (2001 John Duigan) 35
- [02/07] The Host (2006 Joon-ho Bong) 44 - way too much drama for a stupid monster film (or a satire - not a monster film got it - it's only got a bloody big lizard fish thing chasing people...)
- [02/08] Battle of Wits (2006 Jacob Cheung) 38 - great message but poor execution - damned depressing though.
- [02/09] Mighty Aphrodite (1995 Woody Allen) 64

- [02/10] Ministry of Fear (1944 Fritz Lang) 52
- [02/11] Midnight Mystery (1930 George B Seitz) 00 - incredibly bad - some of the absolute worst overacting i have ever seen in my life.
- [02/14] Play it Again, Sam (1972 Herbert Ross) 00 - rape jokes...jesus...
- [01/02] The Talented Mr. Ripley (1955 Patricia Highsmith) 49 - I don't really get what the big deal is... the plot has been done before and it often feels a bit homophobic. Most of the characters are dull or vile or both, especially Ripley, and the ending is disappointing.
- [01/05] The Children of Men (1992 PD James) 52 - the movie is so different (but better), the book contains much more spirituality and backstory, but Theo is very unlikable and doesn't seem to mature (unlike the film).
