At the time, I was really, really annoyed. Now I'm just like, "At least they have good taste."
I am sorry for your loss, those are some great books. Still you never know they might turn up one day. When a moved house I thought I had lost something but a few weeks later the company I used turned up at my door with the box and gave me some of my money back for the inconvenience.
