- I would like some posting and votes for the worst movie ever made, so that I can assemble a top twenty/ten list. Thanks.
- Here are the nominees so far:
- I Spit on Your Grave
- Traxx
- The Stoned Age
- Eight Days a Week
- Joe's Apartment
- Ruthless People
- Attack of the Killer Tomatoes

Take a good look at my 10 movies the world could do without list.
I only put your top three on here, I don't want the list too crowded.
I really like Big Trouble In Little China.
The Stoned Age (1994) is the movie I've rated lowest on IMDB.
dgeiser1 you know I respect right? you are one of the best contributers to this list. So I am curious as to what you see in that horrible movie known as Big Trouble In Little China.
you're talking about the John Carpenter movie with Kurt Russell right? not that POS Showdown in Little Tokyo with Dolph Lundgren and Brandon Lee.
assuming we're both thinking of the same movie. i don't know why i like it. i mean my movie appreciation was still budding when I saw it in 1986. but i've watched it since and it's not that bad. i mean it does have a 6.4 rating on IMDB so I'm not the only one who thinks it's decent. i'd probably give it a 7 which is a solid, likeable movie.
the only thing I can think is it was the first time i was ever introduced to any of the chinese mythos in an american film. i've come to like a lot of the Hong Kong film style like A Chinese Ghost Story, Jackie Chan films, etc.
Well, it didnt work for me. I thought the acting was so bad. And the John Wayne accent Russell was doing. I mean, I know that its a farce and he is supposed to be doing that, but its so bad and over the top I was sickened. And could Kim Cattrell or Kate Capshaw( whoever it was) be any more annoying. Not as much as Kurt Russell. Yuck!!
doesn't your brother like this movie? :-)
I gave The Stoned Age 2 Stars in IMDB. My 3 Star movies are...
Haunting, The (1999)
Mission to Mars (2000)
Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997)
Sphere (1998)
Very Bad Things (1998)
...but I don't know if those are bad enough for this list. My big problem here is I go out of my way not to watch bad movies. :-)
Traxx definitely belongs on the list; I haven't seen the others.
I would suggest these movies as well.
The 3 movies that I can think of that I hate the most:
1. Escape from LA
2. Green Berets
3. Teaching Mrs. Tingle
I don't want to have to re-write my list, so please take as my contribution my Movies that Made me Want to Die and Movies I walked out on/Stopped Watching lists. That pretty much covers it. Also I've got a worst movies ever poll I was taking that I really ought to update.
Joe's Apartment.
Three movies I despised:
Vampire in Brooklyn (w/Eddie Murphy...I should have known better)
Last Action Hero (gag!)
Graffitti Bridge (w/Prince...also should have known better)
I once walked out of the theater during "Ruthless People". I believe Danny DeVito was in it, but I'm not sure. I'm actively repressing the memory.
OK,

Hey, what about "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" which is certifiably horrible--a real target for rotten tomatoes. It tries so hard to be campy that it's just plain awful. Then there's "Red Planet" which isn't in the same league as "Killer Tomatoes" but pretty bad in its own right.
Le6ion of the Dead. Yes that's how they spelled it.
I like ruthless people.
Now playing: The Who: won't get fooled again.
