If I had control of a pop radio station, it would look quite a bit like this. Songs that are catchy without being inane (unless it's on purpose, i.e. the Mclusky tune), have memorable melodies and parts to sing or hum, and are free of profanity. (Except for the Neon Blonde song, but the siren call of the song's drug-damaged apocalyptic decadence was too strong to resist.)
For best results, before listening track down and download "Dr. Nightmare's Medication Time" by Pop Will Eat Itself. I couldn't fit it on, but it's an essential moodsetter. Think of it as Track 0. (Good luck finding it, by the by.)
