Please submit your list if it fits the description, or if you make a new one!!!

I've purposely not included lists that give the best movie by year, by letter, by decade, etc. because they don't quite fit here.

No particular order.

I would kindly ask you to remove both lists from my profile from this list. The 7th grade list is not a "best/favorite films" list by any means; I think I would find most of those films quite crappy today. And the family one is by no means an official list. I didn't ask my family about it, I just took some guesses, and wound up making fun of them a little bit. I just kinda threw it together, and that's why it's archived.

If we're both still around once I'm more satisfied with the number of films I've seen, I'll make a real best / favorite films list then that is actually representative of my taste. I promise.

Top 100 Movie lists are fascinating, how do people do them? I once tried to pick my 100 favorites and eventually gave up because I went on a renting frenzy re-watching them. Good times, but not good for listing. My kudos to anyone who could pull such a list off.

BTW thanks for compiling these all in one place. Yoda man Luke.

I know what you're saying. I can handle a 'top 20 favorite movies' list or something, but 100 favorites or especially "100 best movies ever made" would take a LOT of work for me.

I suspect the difficulty level is why L. Bangs hasn't completed his 100 best films list, though supposedly he has them listed somewhere - just hasn't written 'em up yet.

Thanks Wezzo. When I left Listology and came back, I'm sure I missed a couple dozen lists at least, and since I've been back I've noticed a few that I missed. I'm not really updating this list, anymore for that reason - I've missed too many of them! (I didn't even add my own new list.) I really should archive this, as I'm not updating it anymore. Thanks nonetheless!
