Author Comments:

This is a work in progress. I have several shelves of books to go and I'll surely end up with over 500 books on this list by the time I'm done. But since I'm always buying books, I'll probably always be updating this list (which I plan to do sporadically, if not even less often).

Ultimately, I'd like to be able to say that the first hundred books on this list are the ones that I plan to read in the next year or so, but I don't think I'm there yet. Right now, there's some sense of "sooner" than "later" to the first hundred books listed here, but it's all pretty rough. I've never really been good about deciding what I was going to read next so the idea of queing them up here seems a little hard to me. But, at the same time, I think that I'd like to give queing them up a good, solid try . . . so we'll just have to see how this list develops.

You have Atwood's Oryx and Crate on your list twice.

Fixed. Thanks.

I thought that book was one of her best. Good choice on buying it, I'm sure you'll enjoy it when you get the chance!
:)

Yeah. I've heard a lot of good things about it. I think it is one that I'm definitely going to knock off as soon as possible. But I've had it for a while and haven't gotten around to it yet, so we'll just have to see how it goes.

Hi

Most of the books listed I owned it too. Some have read. Some yet to read.
But the one I'm looking for is A tree In Brooklyn. I already told my girl who is a sophomore at University of Chicago to ge it.
But it hasnt been found yet. Cheers Idzan Ismail
