- Clearwater Main (temporary) -- This was the temporary location they used while they were building the new one. I haven't been to the new library yet but it couldn't have been much better than the temporary. The building was too small for their extra-large stock, meaning the aisles were narrow, the shelves were high and the lightling was poor. Great atmosphere for books. The only problem was that the top two floors were closed and you had to ask for someone to fetch books from there.
- Clearwater Countryside -- Good well-stocked library, but hard to get to and a little crowded.
- Clearwater East -- Virtually identical to the Clearwater Countryside but in a slightly better location.
- Clearwater North Greenwood -- Small library right next to an elementary school. Nice and quiet, though there's not much to get.
- Dunedin -- Really good. Nice place, lots of stuff, easy check-out.
- East Lake Community -- Probably the smallest library in the county. Serves its purpose for people within walking distance.
- Largo (old) -- Strange almost circular layout. The videos were represented by cards which were piled, unsorted, in a bin. You had to search for the card you wanted then take it to a window and exchange it for the tape.
- Largo (new) -- Huge glass building. Could be an airport. Tons of electronic facilities and well-staffed. Only they don't have enough to justify all that space. There are rows and rows of empty shelves.
- Oldsmar -- Outside St. Petersburg this is the only library with an elevator. Really nice building and nice location. Too bad there's almost nothing here.
- Palm Harbor -- Overstaffed and understocked. It's always crowded and I once had to go through three lines to check out. Bad parking.
- Pinellas Park -- Mediocre.
- Safety Harbor -- This is the most scenic town in the county to my tastes. It's in a quiet little alcove of a quiet town and has more to offer than most of the others. One of my favorites.
- St. Petersburg Main -- Not what you'd expect from the main library of the largest city. Poorly run. A fair amount of stuff and good parking. Outclassed by Clearwater and Largo.
- Tarpon Springs -- Not bad. Well run and easy to move around in. Often too crowded.
