- 1. Martin Sheen and Janet Sheen: married and parents of Emilio Estevez, Charlie Sheen, Ramon Estevez, and Renee Estevez (Siblings). Martin also Brothers with lesser know B-movie actor Joe Estevez. Charlie and Emilio starred as bipolar characters in Chris Gain's Young Guns, a brat-pack generation's version of the Billy the Kid story. They also played friends/roomates who were smart-aleck garbage men in the 1990 comedy Men At Work. Martin played Charlie's blue-collar, working-man father in Oliver Stone's 1987 drama Wall Street, and Charlie's psychotically-oppressive drill instructor in the Vietnam-era army prison drama Cadence, which Martin also directed.

- 7. THe Wayans: Keenon Ivory, Damon, Marlon, Shawn, and Kim are all siblings. I think Keenon Ivory Is the oldest. They often make their spoofs ((Scary Movie 1 & 2, I'm Gonna Get You Sucka) with each other, or costarring each other
- 8. The Coen Brothers: Joel and Ethan. Joel directs the films. Ethan usually produces and writes the screenplays, but occassionally Joel will co-write with Ethan. Frances McDormand, wife to Joel, who Joel has directed in a few of their movies.
- 9. Debbie Reynolds, mother of Carrie Fisher.
- 10. Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis, married at one time and are both parents of Jamie Lee Curtis. Jamie is married to comedic actor/mockumentarian Christopher Guest.
- 11. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson: Married. Played comical love interests in the comedy Volunteers, probably where they met. Rita also played the wife of Tom's friend in the romantic comedy Sleepless in Seattle.
- 12. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith: Married Will Smith once claimed to be the son of Sydney Poitier, but I don't believe it.
- 13. The Murrays: Bill (Caddyshack, Scrooged), Brian Doyle (Caddyshack/Scrooged), John (Scrooged), and Joel (Scrooged) are brothers. I think Brian Doyle is the oldest.

- 19. James Arness and Peter Graves: Brothers.
- 20. Steven Tyler (Sometimes music composer for songs part of movie soundtrack), Father of Liv Tyler. Steve composed a major song with his Areosmith bandmates for the blockbuster disaster flick Armaggeddon, featuring Liv as Bruce Willis's daughter and Ben Affleck's cookie-sex lover.
- 21. The Jacksons: Michael, Janet, and LaToya are siblings. Janet is the only one with a real film career, although I've heard LaToya has done a few sordid films besides her workout videos.
- 22. Bruce Lee, Father of Brandon Lee. Both died under mysterious causes at rather sudden young ages, although Bruce's death has a reasonable explanation.
- 24. Aaron Spelling is the father of Tori Spelling.
- 25. Goldie Hawn, Mother of Kate Hudson. Goldie is either married or has shared a long relationship with actor Kurt Russell.
- 26. Nick Clooney (Original AMC host and TV commentator, sometime film historian), Father of George Clooney. George is the nephew of actor Jose Ferrer and cousin of Miguel Ferrer. Rosemary Clooney is Nick's sister, therefore George's aunt.
- 27. The Baldwins: Alec, Daniel, Stephen, and William are all brothers. They are each cousins of actor Joseph Baldwin.
- 28. The Coppolas: Carmine is the father of Francis Ford and Talia Shire. Francis Ford is father of Sofia and Roman. Francis is also the Uncle of Nicolas Cage (born Nicholas Coppola), and Cage's Brothers: Marc Coppola and Chris Coppola. Talia Shire is also the aunt of Cage and his brothers. Cage and his brothers are also the cousins of Jason Schwartzmann and Robert Schwartzmann. Francis cast his daughter in the first Godfather as the baby Anthony Corleone in the baptism-mafia hit montage sequence. He then casted her again in his version of S.E. Hinton's classic novel The Outsiders, as a pestering kid at a fast food stop in East Jabbib, OK. And then Francis, unfortunately, cast Sofia as Michael Corleone and Kay's daughter who develops an unnecessary, sophmoric affair with Vincent, played by Andy Garcia. Sofia's talents as a director shine where her talents as an actress gloom. She was nominated for the beautiful directorial job on Lost In Translation. But she got nominated in a year when Peter Jackson's directorial Oscar for his third and final Lord of the Rings epic was already reserved. So, Sofia couldn't win that one. But, being the daughter of a legendary filmmaker, she had to walk off with some award, so she got a dubious Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. Talia was nominated Best Supporting Actress for her second casting as Connie Corleone in Godfather Part 2. She didn't win. Nicolas Cage won a greatly-deserved Oscar for his role as a hopeless drunkard in Mike Figgis's Indie favorite Leaving Las Vegas, so it hardly matters who's his uncle. ROman Coppola has acted as a Second Unit Director on some of Sofia's films.
- 29. The Howards: Rance Howard and Jean Speegle Howard:married and parents of Ron Howard (The Director) and Clint Howard (Character-actor). Ron and Cheryl Howard are the parents of Bryce Dallas Howard(The Village). Ron has casted his brother Clint in several character-roles, which Clint has always handled professionally.

- 35. Campbell Scott is the son of Colleen Dewhurst and George C. Scott.
- 36. Martin Scorsese is the father of Nicolette Scorsese (Sexy Lingerie Saleswoman who Chevy Chase fantasizes about in NL's Christmas Vacation. My piggish side wishes that movie had be rated-R instead of PG-13, but then that cute little Ruby-Sue scene followed it, and kind of brought me back to decency.)
- 37. Jack Lemmon, father of Chris Lemmon, B-Movie actor.
- 38. John and James Belushi: Brothers.
- 39. Anthony Quinn is father to Francesco, Valentina, Lorenzo, and Alex.
- 40. British Actors James and Edward Fox: Brothers
- 41. Irish actors Barry and Walter Fitzgerald (The Quiet Man): Brothers. Both had supporting roles in John Ford's 1952 The Quiet Man (Which won Ford his fourth and last Best Director Oscar), and John Ford's 1941 coal-mining family drama How Green Was My Valley (Which took the Oscars for Best Picture and Best Director, Ford's third). The latter also featured an younger Maureen O'Hara as a spirited daughter of the movie's heroic clan.
- 42. Rob and Chad Lowe: Brothers. Chad is currently married to two-time Oscar-winning actress Hillary Swank.
- 44. Lloyd Bridges, father of Beau and Jeff Bridges. Beau and Jeff played moody, jazz-playing brothers in The Fabulous Baker Boys, and Lloyd played Jeff's father in the explosive action flick Blown Away, also featuring Tommy Lee Jones as a murderous IRA bomber. I love Tommy Lee Jones but hope he never has try an Irish accent again. Same thing goes for Lloyd.
- 45. Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe: Married. Met and probably fell in love on the set of the 1999 Cruel Intentions, which was a modern-day, twenty-something version of Dangerous Liaisons.
- 46. Meg and Jennifer Tilly: Sisters
- 47. Robert Wagner, father of Katie Wagner, and step-father of Natasha Greyson Wagner, who is the daughter of Natalie Wood.
- 48. The Culkins: Macaulay, Christian, Rory, Kieran, Quinn, and Shane, all siblings. Bonnie Bedelia (Die Hard) is their aunt. One of Macaulay's brothers, I think Kieran, played his cousin, the bed-wetting Fuller, in the syrupy Home Alone movies.
- 49. Bruce Dern, father of Laura Dern, with Diane Ladd. Cheryl played Laura's tryannical mother in the David Lynch crime-oddity Wild at Heart. Laura also played opposite her mother in the 1990 drama Ramblin' Rose, which got Laura an Oscar nod for Best Actress and Cheryl an Oscar Nod for Best Supporting Actress.
- 50. Richard and Wilt Chamberlain: No relation.
- 51. Charlie Campbell, father of Bruce and Don Campbell
- 52. Joey Bishop, father of Larry Bishop.
- 53. Kevin Kline and Phoebe Cates: Married, parents of Greta Kline and Owen Kline, who had appearances in the movie The Anniversary Party.
- 54. Owen, Andrew, and Luke Wilson: Brothers. Owen and Luke have done a few Wes Anderson movies together, since Wes and the Wilsons are good friends, and Owen went to college with Anderson. I think Andrew was in the Royal Tennebaums as a minor charater, as well.
- 55. Ben and Casey Affleck: Brothers. Casey played Morgan, one of Ben and Matt Damon's buddies in Good Will Hunting.
- 56. Walter Huston, father of John Huston, who is the father of Angelica Huston. John directed his father in the 1948, saga-of-greed The Treasure of Sierra Madre, for which Walter won a Best-Supporting Actor Oscar and John won his own Best Director Oscar. John later directed his daughter Angelica in the black comedy Prizzi's Honor, for which Angelica won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar. So all three Hustons have won an Oscar. Oscar really keeps it in the family, but they were all well-deserved Oscars anyway. See The Coppolas.
- 57. Joaquim, Summer, and River Phoenix: Siblings. Summer is a actress, and quite attractive also.
- 58. Patricia, David, and Rosanna Arquette: Siblings. David is married to Courtney Cox-Arquette. David and Courtney played off-beat love interests in the Scream movies, probably where they met and fell in love.
- 59. The Farrelly Brothers: Peter and Robert (There's Something About Mary; Me, Myself, and Irene)
- 60. The Warchiowski Brothers: Andy and Larry (THe Matrix Trilogy, Bound)
- 61. The Marx Brothers: Groucho(Julius), Chico (Leonard), Harpo (Adolf), Zeppo (Herbert), and Gummo (Milton) Made a few movies together here and there. Am being sarcastic, although I never remember seeing Gummo in a one of his brothers' films.
- 62. Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson: Married. Appearred together in the TV epic Gulliver's Travels, based on the satire by Jonathan Swift.
- 63. Jason Patric (Lost Boys, Narc) is the grandson of Jackie Gleason (The Honeymooners), and is the son of Jason Miller (Fr. Damien from The Exorcist) and Linda Miller.
- 64. Christopher Plummer , father of Amanda Plummer (Honey-Bunny from Pulp Fiction).
- 65. Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick: Married. Just costarred in the critically acclaimed drama The Woodsman, in which Bacon gives another great performance that Oscar ignored.
- 66. Actress Eileen Ryan and blacklisted, TV director Leo Penn: Married until his death, and parents of Sean Penn, Chris Penn, and musician Michael Penn. Michael is married to film music composer Aimee Mann.
- 67. Ralph (rhymes with Safe) and Joseph Fiennes: Brothers. I think Ralph is the older of the two.
- 68. Blythe Danner and Bruce Paltrow, parents of of Gwenyth Paltrow (Shakespeare in Love) and Jake Paltrow. Blythe played Gwenyth's mother in the 2003 tearjerking biopic Sylvia, about ill-fated poet Sylvia Plath.
- 69. Jessica and Ashlee Simpson: Sisters and nieces of Homer J. Simpson. LOL
- 70. Tim Robbins and Susan Surandon: Not married, but have been in a long, procreating relationship ever since costarring in Ron Shelton's 1988 baseball comedy Bull Durham. Now they are the poster-couple for the bleeding-heart, liberal Hollywood couple. Besides Bull Durham, Tim Robbins directed Susan Surandon and fellow, Hollywood-liberal Sean Penn in the 1995 death-row drama Dead-Man Walking, which got Surandon an Oscar for Best actress, Penn his first Oscar nod for Best Actor, and Robbins himself an Oscar nod for Best Director and an award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
- 71. Michael Madsen and Virginia Madsen: Siblings. Michael will not...WILL NOT...watch any of his sister's movie where she appears naked. Who can blame him?

Cabaret must have been a damn good movie.
- 75. Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rosselini (Italian Filmmaker who challenged the absurd Hays Code with his movie The Virgin): married at one point and had a daughter, who turned out to be Isabella Rosselini (Big Night, Blue Velvet).

- 79. John Wayne (Birth name: Marion Michael Morrison) is the father of Aissa, Ethan, Marisa, Michael (Producer), Patrick, Toni, and Melinda. He is the grandfather of Danny LaCava, and great-uncle of boxer/actor Tommy "Tommy Gun" Morrison (Rocky 5). Bruce Wayne: distant, black-sheep cousin once-removed. THe Duke apparently beat up John Huston while filming The Barbarian and The Geisha. John Huston, while a maverick, also had a mean streak, but the Duke, the Duker, El Duko gave the same treatment to Peter Bogdanovich, who was terrified of replacing Huston. So maybe, His Dukerness had a bit of a mean streak, too. The Dukewing Duke and Hollywood-bully Ward Bond were drinking buddies, so it's not hard to imagine.
- 80. Randy and Dennis Quaid: Brothers. Played Frank and Jesse James in a movie somewhere. Randy was Frank, Dennis was Jesse. I always thought Frank was cooler than Jesse anyhow.
- 81. Kris Kristoferson and Johnnie Cash: Not brothers, but did play Brothers in a country-singers' version of the Frank and Jesse James story. I think even Willie Nelson showed up later on as one of their ex-riding buddies. Kris, Johnnie, Willie, and Waylon Jennings even starred in a country singers' version of Stagecoach. Kris was the likeable Ringo, Johnnie was the Sheriff, Willie was Doc Holliday, and Waylon was a more sympathetic gambler than John Carradine played in the original.

- 83. Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw: Married
- 84. John Cassavettes and Gina Rowland: Married and parents of Nick Cassevettes.

Author Comments:
Hollywood seems to be just about one big family business, and I am not talking about Disney or Mafia movies.

In regards to
68) father no slouch of an actor either
and
78)his son is on Joan of Arcadia
and you totally missed
107) Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. Their two oldest daughters were in Bandits.
Demi And Bruce are broken up now. I am not going to go through all the divorced people in Hollywood. I am only interested in who is married now, or who were married until the other one died.
I don't watch Joan of Arcadia, so I wouldn't have known.
Regarding 29), may I say that Rance Howard, the father of Ron Howard, is also a fine actor?
#49 Bruce Dern was married to Diane Ladd and not Cheryl Ladd.
