Here is my list of the best movies that I have seen. The primary critieria I used placing these movies on the list include; great performances (acting and/or directing), great stories, great technical quality, influence, and/or great entertainment value. But the most important criteria to me is watchability. Every movie on the list is one I could watch over and over again. In fact, coming up with the list makes me want to hit the video store right now. There is one exception to that rule, Shindler's List. Saw it once, and may never watch it again. It was a horrifying depiction of one of the greatest atrocities commited by man against his fellow man. It is just too moving to watch again.
