I did this as fast as I could listing the first ones to come into my head, I'm actually quite suprised. I didn't think I liked King Kong that much.

I've never heard of Why has Bhodi-dharma Left For the East?, but I just added it to my Netflix queue. I like movies about Buddhists. It's funny I saw this today because also on Listology someone had another list up and there was yet another movie called Tibet: Cry of the Snow Lion which I also added to my queue, today.
Or even Manila: In The Claws Of Neon, to list another bizarre title. :?)
Good choice on Bhodi. I saw it about 5 years ago and I still can't get the stunning imagery out of my head. It was a slow, studied triumph that made me rethink most of my values. That's a great movie. :?)
Tibet is a good Documentary too.
That's a very nice list. I love The Thin Man and The Maltese Falcon is in my top ten films as well. Your tastes (some of which I don't agree with :), make me want to watch the ones here that I haven't seen. In my humble opinion, that's the sign of a great list.
:%) <---blushing stook (perloined from Jim) takes compliment from Yoda-like movie guru.
Thanks

I've just read your 'author comment' and I must say I admire the adventurous way you obtained the list. Now I understand the title. (Slow..........slow...........b-e-r-t-i-e.) Don't know if I have the courage to do my own.
Don't worry, brain cells weren't designed to age gracefully. :?)
I wonder how many other people were wondering the same thing?
