Horror Movies That I Actually Enjoyed

- Okay. Before I start, I have to say that I hate almost every horror movie ever made. Why? Because I like a wild, crazily funny, thrilling, and FUN horror movie. Unfortunately, most of the movies in the horror genre today are special effects-driven, so serious that they're stupid, and outrageously gory. That, in my opinion, makes a bad horror movie. So if I liked the following, then they're definitely worth your while to watch.
- Tremors (1989/1990?, my rating: **** out of 4)
- Tremors 2: Aftershocks (1996, ***1/2)
- The Mummy (1999, ***1/2)
- The Sixth Sense (1999, ***1/2)
- Stir of Echoes (1999, ***1/2)
- The Frighteners (1996, ***)
- Poltergeist (197?, ***)

All of those movies except for maybe Stir of Echoes, are fun. Stir of Echoes made the list because it's so thrilling, frighteningly scary, and enjoyable in all ways.
Before people start asking me why I didn't put old horror movies on the list: I've never seen any. I'd like to, though. And the old Godzilla isn't horror to me, it's action.
If you know of any horror movies that I might like, suggest them in the comments section. Thanks!
