Guilty Pleasures
- Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins
- Hudson Hawk
- Flash Gordon
- Any Jackie Chan movie
- Under Siege
- Undercover Blues
I won tickets to Flash Gordon from a local radio station back when I was in high school. Great soundtrack (especially where they wove the funeral march in with the wedding march). A little too campy(?) for me to really want to admit to it.
Hudson Hawk (which I haven't seen in a while -- why don't they show it more?) had some great parts, including, istr, a great surrealistic sequence. Poor Bruce...
Jackie Chan is fantastic, but still... Steven Seagal, on the other hand, can't act to save his life. Still...
Remo Williams needs a little explanation. That is my number one fantasy (yes, even above the stranded-on-the-planet-of-nubile-females one): Super secret government good guys have identified you as a super-spy in the raw, train you, and put you to work as a james-bond-was-a-nancy-boy hero. And, you get the girl. The movie was pretty bad, though, except for Joel Grey (Cabaret).

Undercover Blues makes me laugh every time I see it on TV. I love Stanley Tucci as Muerto; kills me every time.
