- The Fountain - Aronofsky's film spans three millenia and three stories, starring Hugh Jackman. Woah.
- Inland Empire - being made in secret by David Lynch. 'Nuff said.
- Babel - Iñárritu may soon prove to be one of today's masters of cinema, and his next multi-protagonist story of fucked-up people stars Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett and is written by his collaborater for Amores Perros and 21 Grams.
- Southland Tales - Richard Kelly (of Donnie Darko) directs a big-budget sci-fi flick with a great-sounding script and plenty of comedy. Woo-hoo!
- Untitled Spike Jonze/Charlie Kaufman Project - don't know anything about it, don't need to.
- Superman Returns - a sort of morbid fascination. I'm ready for film's Chinese Democracy to finally get made at ridiculous expense with mostly unproven actors. It may even contain a few entertaining scenes.

Tarantino is doing another remake/homage, now an italian film.
Yeah, not so excited about that one.
i just realized how out of touch and uninterested i am in the world of sci-fi... hugh jackman AND rachel weisz?!! NO THANKS! I don't care who is directing... the lynch film however looks slightly interesting, as long as it's nothing like mulholland drive.
I love sci-fi, but only when it's done really well. Which has been... about 6 times in the entire history of cinema.
I loved Mulholland Drive, but I hope Lynch keeps moving to different ideas as he has in the past.
kudos to all of that... 6 is stretching it for me though... between the 50s sci fi and planet of the apes makes up about the 4 or 5 I actually like a lot.
