These are the songs that make me want to crank up the radio, and put my foot to the floor. Perfect for a long road trip, you should always keep these CD's in your car. A few might seem a little strange, but they always make me want to drive off into the sunset.

For me, the definitive road song will always be "Rearviewmirror" by Pearl Jam.
Clapton's Lay Down Sally is a perfect roadster for me
I can see the appeal of Lay Down Sally. However, that song has been black-listed by me. You know, the old...well, I knew this girl named Sally that I couldn't stand....
Damn! I was gonna say that! :)
The Best from Tina Turner too
This one might be kind of cheesy, but how about Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again"?
Now that one will always remind me of the first day of a camping trip and packing to get ready! My dad would actually walk into the garage singing that song.
I would throw in "Mr. Breeze" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
