Author Comments:

What can I say, I have cable.

Dates preceding film titles are the year in which the Razzie was granted.
Dates following film titles (and in parentheses) are the year in which the film was released.

I have only seen two of the "winners": Wild Wild West and Hudson Hawk, and that is bad enough for a whole life.
However I think the "jury" (if you can call it like that) often made (and still makes) mistakes by choosing their films. For instance, the jury nominated Stanley Kubrick once for worst direction for The Shining. Really, they must be stupid...

I will defend "Freddy Got Fingered" to the end as the ultimate "So Bad, It's Good" movie. It is the worst movie of the year but I love it because, well, it's just funny. Really, can't breathe funny.

Even though I'm a Razzies voter (this year I didn't vote), I never agree with the Worst Picture winner. They're always just the bad movie that everyone's seen as opposed to the truly worst.

While I'm sure you're right -- that the Razzies' Worst Picture isn't truly the worst of the year -- these movies in general are pretty awful.

The mere existence of the Razzies gives me hope in a world filled with crappy movies. In fact, I'm eagerly waiting for a nomination for this weekend's Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector.
