- Amber Sea: the expanse of water between the continents of Ani and Grenadia.
- Ambrose Islands: a string of islands in the Amber Sea, known for impassible winds and electrical storms; the mythological prison the ancient Szu were sent to for eternal life.
- Ani: the largest continent, containing the lands of Schar, Gerih, Nod, Erallia, Akhaso, and the Wilderlands.
- Alion: the world termed after the Breaking, when the wandering sickness was placed over the surviving Primus people.
- Balsa: a province in Nod.
- Birthing Mists: the strange and mysterious mists that circle the Valley of Gerih; the mists that protect the land of Caeltama; the mists, out of which formed the world.
- Braeden Slade: the land beneath the Khamar Sea; the tunnels, caves, and caverns of the Shykar.
- Breaking of the World: the destruction and cracking of the land by the hands of the immortal Szu, before Alion was named.
- Caeltama: formerly known as the Valley of Gerih, the valley of the remaining Thoei during the Dreyesk sieges of the final age; the word for ‘dream’ in the tongue of the Kei.
- Chantal: the mythological builders of the world; giants, forever asleep beneath the mountains of Grenadia.
- Daius: the mythological gods that rule over Nod; the remaining Primus not afflicted with the wandering sickness.
- Dagan: the ancient name of the world, prior to the Breaking of the World.
- Dolani: the people that inhabit the continent of Grenadia.
- Dreyesk: parasitical spirit beings formerly known as the Szu, turned to parasites by the invading Gryvaens, after the Scouring of the World.
- Erallia: the middle-land of the continent of Ani; a sprawling forest and jungle, bursting with mountains, valleys, and rivers.
- Gamoude: a province in Nod.
- Garaihta: a province in Nod.
- Genesai: a people that inhabit the interior of Erallia.
- Gerih: the valley between Schar and the Wilderlands; the birthplace of the world, where the primal mists gathered after the creation.
- Grenadia: the second largest continent composed of extreme mountains and rocky disturbances, as well as jungle and lush valleys.
- Gryvaens: creatures that conquered and destroyed much of Alion in the Scouring of the World; the guardians of Caeltama that live in the Sela Mountains.
- Juventur: a province in Nod.
- Kamali: the winged beings that inhabit the interior of Erallia; protectors and guardians of the Genesai.
- Kei: the people that inhabit the coast of Akhaso.
- Khamar Sea: the expanse of water between Schar and Akhaso; the sea above the Braeden Slade.
- Nazorene: a province in Nod.
- Nod: the northern sprawl of the continent of Ani; a vast cold realm, of mountains, plains, and glacial strips.
- Primus: the Guardians of Dagan, endowed with powers from the Vesta of the Birthing Mists.
- Qath: a province in Nod.
- Schar: the grasslands of the western land on the continent of Ani; the root name of the same people that inhabit the land.
- Scouring of the World: the destruction and wasting of Alion during the resistance to the Gryvaen invasion, which directly caused the freedom of the Szu from their eternal binding.
- Sela Mountains: the high wall of mountain that protects Caeltama, along with the Storm, from the Dreyesk.
- Shykar: the people that inhabit the Braeden Slade; cousins of the Scharans.
- Sijai: a province in Nod.
- Silbhe: a people that inhabit the interior of Erallia.
- Skamai: a province in Nod.
- Storm: the protective form of the birthing mists; the wall that protects Caeltama.
- Szu: the mythological name of the group of Primus that directly caused the Breaking of the World; inhabitants of the Ambrose Islands.
- Tauj: a province in Nod.
- Thoei: the people of the Gerih Valley.
- Ual: the people that inhabit the interior of Akhaso.
- Ute: a people that inhabit the interior of Erallia.
- Vesta: the mythological goddess of the birthing mists; the shaper of the world.
- Wilderlands: the untamed land that separates the desert of Akhaso and Erallia.
- Xen: the strange people that inhabit the island of Adytum.
