- My American Studies Class - After one class I can tell this will be my favorite this semester. The professor is so nice, and, really, she's the first professor I've met here who I could immediately tell loves teaching and her students. It will be a lot of work, and a lot of reading, but I'm still excited. Oh, and, of the 12 people enrolled, 3 are friends I made earlier in the year!

- "Crabs for Christmas" by David DeBoy (SONG) - Best Christmas song ever. It's about a guy from Baltimore who wants crabs. I don't know if anyone outside of the DC-Baltimore area would know of it, though. The only time I've ever heard it is on NPR here.
- http://snowflakes.lookandfeel.com/ (WEBSITE) - Alright, I'm probably the only person on this site who enjoys making paper snowflakes online. But, dammit, I'm enjoying it, and getting really good at it!
- A Christmas Story (MOVIE) - Yep, it's that time of year again...
- chai tea (FOOD)
- Yankee Hotel Foxtrot - Wilco (ALBUM)
- the end of the semester - Sure, I have a ton of work to do, and I still have to deal with finals, but it's so great knowing that I'm almost done with my first semester of college.
- campus radio station - Actually, most shows aren't that great, but one of my friends has a show that plays decent college rock and I just discovered a rather good bluegrass show.

- the benefits of college - This week I'm seeing Les Misérables for free, the Cleveland Orchestra for free, and Stephen Hawking speak!
- Van Morrison (MUSICIAN) - I recently borrowed a few of my dad's albums (Astral Weeks, Moondance, and Saint Dominic's Preview) and I'm loving them.
- untoasted PopTarts (FOOD) standard college breakfast, no?
- "F*** and Run" by Liz Phair (SONG) - And "Divorce Song," but this is just the best. I listened to this album all summer, so I had to give it a rest for a while. It's been in my cd player for about a week now, though...
