Great to see Near Dark on the list!

A few suggestions:

Daughters of Darkness (71)
Dracula (31) (c'mon!)
Nosferatu (both 22 & 79)
Vampyr (31)

Shalom, y'all!

i agree with l bangs here about nosferatu. I also suggest the 1979 version of Dracula starring Frank Langella.

I'd like to recommend two others:
Tale of a Vampire (92) - it's sorta slow-paced but Julian Sands is the ultimate vampire, IMO
To Die For (89) - [not the Nicole Kidman flick, obviously] which is sorta cheesy but has its moments.

thanks for the suggestions, taryn!

I will see any movie if there is a vampire in it, and my favorites are Nosferatu ('22)and Bram Stoker's Dracula. As far as Bordello of Blood; it was so bad that it hurt to watch it.

Love the list. See "Nosferatu" '22 in a double feature with "Shadow of the Vampire" and you won't be disappointed. Judging by those you liked versus didn't I think you will really enjoy these two.

Transylvania Twist (spoof with Robert Vaughn)
Dracula, Dead and Loving It (Leslie Nielsen)
Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat

PS: Read the book Vampire$ by John Steakly. Much, much better. I think the movie was the worst rendition of any book I've ever seen. (Armor, by the same author, was excellent too).

Thanks for the tip on Armor, Lance! I had actually heard good things about it before. I went ahead and bought a re-issue and am reading it as we speak. :-)
