Fun, Light Books

- Dragonlance, Margerert Weis & Tracy Hickman (Don't bother with DL stuff not written by this duo)
- Snow Crash, Neal Stephenson
- Any Forgotten Realms book of your choice, although R.A. Salvatore is probably the best here
- Early Heinlein works, before he got into Libertarian and sexist themes (No association between the two thoughts, other than Heinlien had them both)
- The Dark Tower series, Stephen King
- Jurrasic Park, Micheal Crichton
- Probably Grisham, although I've personally never read him.
These books may or may not have their themes, qoutes, or moments, but they won't (or shouldn't? How presumptous of me to lay claim to this) become classics, due to their focus being on entertainment (or money), somewhat akin to Harlequin romance novels (Of course, these are better than that).
