Ah, the innocent days of shitty post-grunge! I was living in Chicago when I did this, most likely in my first year of wedded bliss. Side B is taken exclusively from songs featured on CMJ New Music Monthly CDs. I used to buy them religiously at Tower Records in Schaumburg.
