Tags:
- The Orthodox Church by Kallistos(Timothy) Ware - The best overall introduction. Divied into two halves, history and theology.
- The Tao of Christ by Hieromonk Damascene - Meditations on the Tao Teh Ching from an Orthodox perspectave and a rendering of the life of Christ as Lao Tzu might have written it. Check out the Amazon reviews.
- Facing East by Frederica Matthews-Green - Best for a non-theological look at the life of a modern Orthodox family in the US
- Thirsting for God in a Land of Shallow Wells by Matthew Gallatin - Best intro for an evangelical protestant.
- The Orthodox Way by Kallistos Ware - This is the one I would reccomend to persons with no religious background.
