Author Comments:
Ok, this list now has ratings. They're quite vague at present - 100 is as good as it gets; 0 is as bad as it gets. Plus, I'm easily amused and have limited critical faculties, so I generally mark a little high.
Cloned From:

What did you think of Tristam Shandy?
Loved it. I'm always a sucker for this sort of self-referential humour and games-playing - it's got a lot of similarities to Winterbottom's earlier 24 Hour Party People, of which I'm a huge fan - and I thought the whole thing was beautifully sustained and gloriously funny. I imagine it would infuriate anyone who wasn't on its wavelength, mind.
I'd like to hear your thoughts on Munich.
I hear you. Welcome to the world of rating on personal feelings and not some sort of critical faculties. It does make for some interesting rating disagreements with people who rate on some sort of quality analysis based on years of comparing movies and/or formal education.
Red Eye better than La Strada? I demand an explanation!
;)
One of the (dis)advantages of rating films subjectively, and on their own terms, I guess - La Strada disappointed; Red Eye didn't. Objectively, and allowing for the differences in ambition and scope between the two, I can see that La Strada probably has the edge. ;)
