I would like to hear why you liked the Passion of the Christ so much?
It probably had something to do with me having low expectations for it. From what I can remember, I enjoyed the acting of James Caviezel and Maia Morgenstern and the way the story was told. I'm not a religious person so I'm not that familiar with the story. I found it interesting to see the story of Jesus from Gibson's point of view. I thought he got his point across.
Thank you for such a good explanation. I'm amazed at the number of non-religious people who appreciate the movie. I adore Jesus. I believe he really rose from the dead and is alive with God today, so I was a little disappointed that Gibson neglected to give more time to the "happy ending." I have very personal reasons for appreciating the film, so it was hard to watch all that suffering.
