Films That Made Me Cry

  1. Scrooge(1951) The only one on this list that had me balling... when the ghost of christmas present repeats something Scrooge said earlier about the kid just being surplus population along with the part near the end of the post-tiny tim's death cratchit family... which means basically any part with tiny tim in it is gonna get me going... funny thing is it's not the same for any other version on film... although the book does it too.
  2. Rudy(1993) I don't know where this one comes from but it might have something to do with the fact that I used to be very passionate about playing sports... and when that little guy gets on the field and plays his heart out at the end in front of his father, i can't help it.
  3. Miracle(2003) Only because it included the audio of Al Micheals screaming "Do you believe in miracles... YEEEES!", makes my neck tingle just typing it, it's that underdog effect, which is wierd because I wasn't even born when it happened, but the fact that it was the greatest upset of all time and it was USA over USSR and the brilliance of Al Micheals capper, it sends a shiver down my spine everytime I hear it.
  4. True Crime(1999) When the innocent man has to say goodbye to his daughter and head for the electric chair.
  5. The Hustler(1961) That final speech by Eddie Felson
  6. Million Dollar Baby(2004) Easily the saddest movie I have ever seen... didn't cry very much... but it got me a little.
  7. The Land Before Time(1988) Haven't seen the whole movie for a long time, but i always cry during the end credits when that song by diana ross comes on even if i only catch the end when some kids are watching it.
  8. Adventure(1945) When Mudgin dies and then builds up to the baby being born.
  9. Field Of Dreams(1989) If you're one of the few who truly believes there is nothing better than being on the baseball field, if you've ever had dreams of playing ball then you probably understand where i'm coming from... otherwise you think i'm nuts, but if you told me i could play baseball everyday for the rest of eternity, i'd do it... the part that really got me was "dad... you wanna have a catch?"
