Author Comments:
These are under consideration.

You and I both seem to have put X2 as a possibility for Best Beginning. I'm glad that you liked it. I'm pretty sure that it's gonna end up in my nominees 7 months from now. I liked it THAT much.
Hey, N! Thanks for the feedback. Are you saying that you think X2 will still be in the running as a nomination for Best Beginning in 7 months? Or just in your nominees in general?
Well, what I was trying to say (though I was rushed, and upon second reading, my post is a little jumbled) is that I thought that the beginning was so thrilling, that it would have to be a great cinematic year to provide 5 better beginnings than X2's. I suppose I was also wondering what you thought of it (other than the fact that you liked it enough to put it on your list).
Definitely a great opening scene! Too bad the film couldn't maintain that level throughout. I can definitely see the beginning of X2 making it to the final round of Best Beginning nominess.
Only seen 6 movies? Still working on your list?
Yes, you got me. I've only seen 6 movies in my entire life.
You have Best Performance Male Lead- Jack Black as Dewey Finn in "The Rundown.
We all know he was the great Dewey Finn in
THE SCHOOL OF ROCK.
Please correct, it's only fair....he was great!
Just a typo. Thanks for the correction!
Sheesh. So many categories for so many years. You've given yourself a lot of work to do!
