A few movies I've enjoyed over the years

  1. The Sound of Music I liked it the first time I saw it, but it quickly got old, and very sweet
  2. To Kill a Mockingbird One of the very few movies that I liked as much as I liked the book
  3. Fried Green Tomatoes Hey, I'm a southern girl, what can I say?
  4. Steel Magnolias Ditto
  5. Mr. Holland's Opus I love music, music movies and music teachers - I had to love this.
  6. Field of Dreams I loved the story, I love Kevin Costner, I love baseball.
  7. Pretty Woman Everyone loves Cinderella, I guess
  8. Dirty Dancing I have no idea why I liked this, but I did.
  9. The Wizard of Oz I watch it every year, at least once
  10. The Princess Bride I enjoyed this much more than the book
  11. Shrek LOVED it - watched it with the whole family, and my kids are grown!
  12. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and I liked all the others, too, although I much prefer the books
  13. The Mighty Ducks Yeah, I know. Go ahead and laugh. But I really did like it, and the other two, too. Go figure.
  14. Sleepless in Seattle I guess I just don't like sad movies. As I tell my kids, I can be miserable all by myself.
  15. Star Wars The first three, at least. Haven't seen the rest of them.
