A good discussion topic: did the death of the LP, with its bigger space, doom great cover art? Only one of my picks is from the CD era, although I could probably think of some more good ones.

Bjork's Homegenic, Lauryn Hill's Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and Mary J. Blige's Mary are some of my favorite covers. Simple portrait covers but beautiful nonetheless.
