there's some great stuff on here, as well as a buttload of things of things with which I'm not familiar. both cool.
You put a big smile on my face by getting me to remember the Wynonie Harris song. Some real Kick ass music that most people know nothing about. I am going to need to find my old 78's of his music.
:) Getting into swing dancing has done wonders for my breadth of music.
My 75 year old in-laws are really big into Swing so I hear a lot of it since we live above them. We recently purchased a 1916 Victor Victrola that is in great working condition. To hear some old swing music played on it is outstanding. My wife is probably justified in worrying that I will now go on a 78 record buying spree.
Ooh. I know some people that are starting to hook record players up to their computers and record to CDs. Fortunately, thus far, I've avoided doing that. I think I'd become an ebay addict otherwise.
