Qualification is that I like a certain director's approach to film and his personal style & expression, and would love to see more of his or her work - regardless of how many films I've seen of that filmmaker up to now.
The order is only very vaguely by preference, I wasn't able to make a serious order by preference.
The two films (with international english titles) in brackets - or only one, if I haven't seen more of the director, which happened in a few cases - are my favorite films of that filmmaker.
Note: the list is not complete and will hopefully be completed and updated in the future.
