My two B&W favorites are ARSENIC & OLD LACE and A NIGHT AT THE OPERA. I bought both on tape some years ago and drag them out every few years to rediscover them. Since you only classfied the movies as B&W and comedies, would Mel Brooks' YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN make your list?
