As you can tell, the more stupid the better. This list is not in any order, but Dumb and Dumber is my all-time favorite movie (comedy or otherwise). How Dumb and Dumber can be omitted from any "best comedies list" amazes me. Kingpin is way under-rated, and might be one of Bill Murray's funniest movies. Night Shift is also under-rated. It just isn't Christmas without a viewing of Christmas Vacation (way funnier than A Christmas Story). It is amazing how Chevy Chase can be so funny in some movies and so bad in others. John Candy was a genius. Even his cameos (like in Home Alone) are great. Bill Murray can make any movie watchable. Best of Show was one of the funniest movies I saw in the last year or so. And since I think Chris Elliot is one of the funniest actors around, I had to include Cabin Boy (very, very stupid, but that is how I like 'em).

I don't know how I left "Meet the Parents" off this list. It is already a classic. I like to watch movies over and over again, and this stands up well to repeat viewings. Ben Stiller is on a roll!
Just thought I'd mention that lists aren't carved in stone once you post 'em - you can always edit at a later date.
