The test of time. Next favorite album of that year in parentheses.

The Band?!?!
You gotta a problem with that, mister?
Shalom, y'all!

Sadly, at one time I would've thought of The Band as not worthy enough as well.
Then I heard the self-titled 'Band' album and I am now convinced that it's not only the best album of the 60's, but perhaps ALL TIME.
I'm sure you would like it too if you heard it.
Interesting to find live albums chosen as your picks for 1970 and 1971; live albums are often overlooked by critics in favor of studio ones, but the two you pick get no arguments from me, especially considering how good The Who and The Allman Brothers were live.

Yes, I think that was the peak of the live album, and those bands were on fire.
